About GlobalCIE

Since its founding in Beijing in 2016, GlobalCIE has made significant strides in supporting the Comparative and International Education (CIE) community. In 2019, GlobalCIE sponsored a successful World Forum in partnership with NOCIES and Stockholm University, attended by more than 75 members from over twenty countries. Keynote addresses were delivered by Professors Mark Bray and Larry Suter.

Since then, through our affiliation with KIE (Knowledge, Innovation and Enterprise), GlobalCIE has provided annual online access to keynote CIE speakers. This ongoing work has been made possible thanks to the commitment of key individuals passionate about expanding and enhancing CIE worldwide.

It encourages comparative research in the areas of global, regional, national, local and community policies, processes, and practices, and the socio-cultural contexts in which education occurs.
